Bringing Joy Through Live Music Across Mendocino County and the North Bay

Hello, I’m Roy Helsing.

Music has been part of my life for more than 60 years, beginning with the acoustic accordion and evolving into today’s remarkable digital instruments.

I perform on both digital and acoustic accordion, offering music that ranges from romantic standards and light jazz to pop, country, classic rock, Italian, French, Latin, and traditional favorites. My digital accordion allows me to bring the sounds of an entire musical palette—from piano, guitar and strings to orchestral ensembles and even a full pipe organ—all in one highly portable instrument.

After a career as a U.S. Army officer and later building and leading a successful business, I returned to one of my lifelong passions: sharing music with others.

Today, I especially enjoy helping couples create memorable wedding celebrations. Whether performing for a ceremony overlooking the ocean, a cocktail hour in a vineyard, or an elegant reception, my goal is simple: to provide beautiful live music that fits the setting, reflects the couple, and makes their special day even more memorable.
