From the familiar strains of the Beer Barrel Polka and Pennsylvania Polka to traditional European and American favorites, polka music brings an upbeat, festive energy that has long been associated with the accordion. Roy’s repertoire includes German, Austrian, Alpine, Slovenian and American-style polkas ranging from well-known audience favorites to traditional instrumental selections.
Performed on digital accordion, these songs can recreate the lively sound of a full polka band, including accordion, brass, clarinet, tuba and percussion. Polkas are a natural choice for Oktoberfest celebrations, German-themed events, festivals, private parties and other gatherings where lively, recognizable music helps create a festive atmosphere.
